Our Roofing Warranty Options
When you choose a new roof, the warranty is just as important as the shingles themselves. At American Remodeling Corporation, we provide roofing warranties that protect your home for decades — and every roof we install includes our own 5-Year Workmanship Warranty at no extra cost.
Because we are a GAF Master Elite Contractor, we can also offer enhanced warranties backed directly by GAF that most contractors cannot.

Key Notes for Homeowners
Lifetime coverage explained
“Lifetime” means coverage lasts as long as you own your home. If you sell, the warranty can usually transfer once to the next owner. For non-residential buildings, the maximum term is typically 40 years.
ARC workmanship warranty
Every roofing project we complete includes a
5-Year Workmanship Warranty. This means if an installation-related issue arises within the first 5 years, ARC will handle the repairs at no cost — no matter which GAF warranty you choose.
Wind coverage details
For standard shingles, coverage up to 130 mph requires special installation methods. LayerLock® shingles with the WindProven® label offer unlimited wind protection when installed with the required accessories.
Accessory requirements
Enhanced warranties require using a full GAF roofing system — shingles plus a set number of qualifying accessories (ridge caps, starter strips, leak barriers, underlayment, or attic ventilation).
Extended workmanship with Golden Pledge
The
Golden Pledge Warranty goes further by adding
25 years of workmanship coverage (30 years for select shingles), backed directly by GAF. This protection continues well beyond ARC’s own workmanship warranty.
Smart Choice Protection Period
During the initial years, coverage is non-prorated, meaning GAF covers the full cost of materials (and sometimes labor). After this period, coverage continues but at a reduced level based on the roof’s age.
Algae protection
Standard shingles provide 10 years of algae protection. Shingles with StainGuard Plus™ or StainGuard Plus PRO™ provide 25–30 years of protection.
Tear-off and disposal
The Roofing System Limited Warranty does not cover tear-off or disposal. System Plus covers tear-off when necessary. Golden Pledge covers both tear-off and disposal.
Contractor qualifications
Enhanced warranties are only available when your roof is installed by a GAF Certified or Master Elite Contractor. ARC is proud to be a
GAF Master Elite Contractor, which qualifies us to register these enhanced warranties.
