Canvassing Manager

American Remodeling Corporation is hiring a full time Canvassing Manager to lead our door to door lead generation program. This position focuses on training, coaching, and supporting part time canvassers in the field while improving appointment quality and team performance. The Canvassing Manager works directly with homeowners and staff to generate leads for residential roofing, exterior services, interior services, windows, doors, and home additions.

Service Area

This is an in person leadership role based out of our Jessup, MD office. Canvassing Managers support teams working in Howard County, Anne Arundel County, Montgomery County, Baltimore County, Prince George’s County, Carroll County, and surrounding communities.

Daily work takes place on the road alongside assigned neighborhoods.

Position Overview

The Canvassing Manager is part of the American Remodeling Corporation marketing and outreach team. You will guide canvassers through scripts, objections, safety procedures, and mobile lead submission. The role includes field leadership, performance reviews with management, and steady coordination with the office. Canvassing Managers ensure the team collects accurate information and schedules real, qualified consultations for ARC Sales Representatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and support door to door canvassers

  • Track daily hours and team progress
  • Communicate field needs to management
  • Maintain professionalism and respectful homeowner interactions

  • Organized and dependable work habits
  • Comfort working outdoors and in neighborhoods
  • Basic understanding of home improvement services
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Working cellphone with data and service
  • Bilingual applicants are preferred
  • Ability to pass a background check

Compensation

Canvassing Managers are paid on an hourly and appointment-based commission pay scale. Starting pay is $20/hour, with additional bonuses for every qualified appointment generated by you and for jobs sold from members of your canvassing team. This structure rewards field activity, coaching effectiveness, and consistent lead results.
